About this product
Clear glass vials for practitioner compounding, decanting and storage, supplied as three loose components: the vial, a rubber injection stopper and a flip-off aluminium cap. Nothing is pre-assembled and nothing is pre-sealed, so you decide how the vial is prepared and when it is closed.
That matters if your protocol calls for the glass to be cleaned or autoclaved before use. A vial that arrives crimped shut has already made that decision for you and cannot be prepared without breaking the seal first. These leave the choice with the practitioner: prepare the glass your way, fill it, seat the stopper, then crimp the cap when you are ready to close it.
These are the same 10ml vials practitioners reach for when splitting a larger volume into working aliquots, preparing individual doses ahead of a clinic day, or keeping a small quantity of a solution separate from its original container.

No, and that is deliberate. Nothing is pre-assembled or crimped, so you can prepare the glass to your own protocol and seal it when you are ready.
No. These are supplied as empty glass containers and no sterility claim is made. Any cleaning or sterilisation your intended use requires is up to you.
Yes, if you want the cap crimped closed. A 20mm hand crimper does it. The stopper alone seats without a tool if you do not need a crimped seal.
Yes. The rubber stopper takes a needle directly, and the flip-off centre of the cap lifts away to expose it once crimped.
