About IVNT & Nursepreneurship Training
A 6-hour intensive course designed for Registered Nurses and aesthetic nurses building or expanding an IV nutrient therapy (IVNT) practice. Covers both the clinical fundamentals of IVNT and the business operations side of running an aesthetic nursing practice in South Africa.
Curriculum
- IVNT clinical foundations: indications, contraindications, common protocols and patient assessment
- Drip formulations: vitamins, minerals, amino acids and how they combine in common drips
- Administration and safety: cannulation, drip rate, observation and adverse event handling
- Nursepreneurship: setting up your practice, pricing, client retention and the regulatory environment in South Africa
The practical component
The practical is demonstration-led. You will see a full IVNT session set up and run in the studio and handle the products yourself, mixing, drawing up, priming and spiking. Supervised administration on live models is not part of this course. Cannulation and IV administration already sit within Registered Nurse scope of practice, so the day concentrates on the drip work and the practice built around it.
