A wash of colour that wakes the whole face. Lip blush shading evens tone, softly defines the border and heals into a tinted just-bitten finish.

Please note

Permanent makeup is a cosmetic micropigmentation procedure performed in-studio by our resident PMU artist after a consultation and suitability screening. Results, healing and colour retention vary by individual, skin type and lifestyle. It is not a medical treatment and it is not a substitute for advice from your medical practitioner. Not performed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Questions, answered

Who performs the treatment?

All permanent makeup at our Northriding studio is performed by our resident PMU artist. Your appointment starts with a consultation, shape mapping and a suitability check before any pigment is placed.

What is lip shading?

A soft wash of pigment across the lips that evens tone, subtly defines the border and heals into a tinted just-bitten finish. You can still wear lipstick over it whenever you like.

I get cold sores. Can I still book?

Yes, with preparation. Lip work can trigger a flare, so speak to your doctor about preventative medication before your appointment and let your artist know at your consultation.

Does it hurt?

A topical numbing cream is applied before and topped up during your session, so most clients feel light scratching rather than pain. Sensitivity varies from person to person.

What is the healing process?

Colour looks darker for the first few days, then softens as the skin heals over 7 to 14 days, with the true healed shade settling by around week 4. Your aftercare guide lands in your inbox after your session.

Do I need a touch-up?

Most clients book a perfecting session 6 to 8 weeks after the first appointment to refine shape and colour once the skin has healed. Your artist will advise at your session.

How long does it last?

Permanent makeup softens gradually rather than fading overnight. Most clients enjoy 1 to 3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle and sun exposure, with a colour refresh recommended to keep it crisp.
