Signs of excess absorption include dizziness, a metallic taste, numbness around the mouth and an irregular heartbeat. Stop the procedure and seek medical assistance if these occur.
• Client screening still applies. Screen for pregnancy, heart or liver conditions and any known allergy to amide-type local anaesthetics before use.
